3D Video Creation Process
To ensure that the 3D animation project is executed with quality and delivered on time, we follow an organized process divided into essential steps.
Step 1: Project Briefing
We start with a conversation to understand the project needs, animation goals, visual style, duration, and format (video, GIF, etc.). We also discuss how the animation will be used and any necessary technical details.
Step 2: Script
The client should provide a script or at least a summary of what needs to be shown in the animation. This material will serve as the foundation for developing the animation and help define the creative direction.
Step 3: File Submission
The client sends all necessary files for the animation, such as brand guidelines, logos, textures, and other graphic or 3D elements. If 3D files are not available, the client's engineering department may be able to provide them; otherwise, we will need to model the objects and environments from scratch.
Step 4: Contract
We create a contract containing all the project information, including deadlines, pricing, and important details. Production only begins after the contract is signed.
Step 5: File Organization
Once all files are received, we check if everything is complete and correct. Organizing the materials before starting production helps prevent issues and rework during the process.
Step 6: Modeling and Preparation
At this stage, we model the 3D objects and environments, apply textures, and make initial adjustments to ensure everything is ready for the next step. If needed, 3D models are created from scratch.
Step 7: Storyboard Creation
With the script and files organized, we create the storyboard — a visual sketch of the animation that defines the sequence of scenes and the movement of elements. This step is essential for aligning expectations before animation begins.
Step 8: 3D Animation
We animate the project, giving motion to 3D elements and environments. If necessary, this stage also includes rigging adjustments and animation of objects and cameras.
Step 9: Finalization and Post-Production
After the animation is completed, we move into post-production, which may include visual effects, color correction, and final adjustments. The animation is then rendered and optimized for the required formats.
Step 10: Delivery
With the animation finalized and reviewed, we deliver the files in the agreed formats, ready for use, as defined with the client.
